Our goal is to empower children to create meaningful relationships with themselves, others and the world around them, while adhering to the statutory guidance on Relationships Education in the UK. We use a combination of Social-Emotional Learning and Values-based learning to achieve this.
We believe that when we learn to connect with each other on the basis of shared values, we start to build healthy relationships.
Children who are values literate have a life-long toolkit that they use to navigate the world around them; from mental health issues, and increased levels of childhood anxiety to sex education and wellbeing - values provide the opportunity for children to reflect on and process these complex topics with more resilience - and make good, informed choices.
Each session we offer as part of our programme provides time for children to reflect on school values, their home values and their own developing values.
